WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Coulson Aviation USA has an opening for a CH47 Crew Chief - Fly In/Fly Out. We operate a fleet of aircraft that includes: 737, C130, S61, S76, UH60, and CH47 aircraft, primarily in a firefighting capacity. This rotational position does not require you to relocate. You can live anywhere in the USA as we will cover the cost for you to travel to and from your home.

We are searching for a hardworking candidate with a very strong attention to detail.

Job Duties:

1. Supervise and lead assigned personnel for aircraft.
2. Perform the incoming review to identify, control, segregate and maintain all materials (including raw materials and parts) according to the manufacturer’s requirements or standard industry practices.
3. Carry out final inspection and Maintenance Release for all assigned work carried out within the scope of their authorization(s) on aeronautical products prior to return to service.
4. Ensure that work sheets, logs, tracking updates, and other required records are complete, and submitted in a timely manner.
5. Ensure all tools and equipment meet calibration and storage requirements and are in good working order, including operational equipment.
6. Interact and liaise with agencies as the aircraft maintenance representative as required.
7. Maintain company owned or rented aircraft and equipment and self-image to meet the standards set by the company.

Requirements

1. 2 years minimum, previous Crew Chief experience
2. Previous crew lead hand experience in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility or similar responsibility
3. Valid FAA A&P certification
4. Valid Drivers’ License and Passport
5. Willing and able to travel internationally

Additional Experience, Education And/or Skills

1. Security background check may be required.
2. Aviation knowledge is required.
3. Ensure that all maintenance tasks performed are carried out in accordance with the applicable regulatory company manual and established legislative requirements
4. Look after parts provisioning and pre-ordering to ensure all mx items are taken care of.
5. Specific knowledge on troubleshooting complex systems and performing post maintenance checks.
6. In depth knowledge of ground support equipment and operational specific equipment.
7. Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills.
