Job Title: cGMP Production Filler Operator 2nd & 3rd Shift openings

Location: Lombard, Illinois

Shift Details: 2nd Shift: 2pm to 10:30pm Monday to Friday
3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Monday–Friday)

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week; overtime expected

Training Requirement: Ability to work 1st shift (6am - 2:30 pm) or 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) for 1–2 weeks during training

Pay Rate: 2nd Shift: $23.10/hr, 3rd Shift: $24.15/hr, 1st Shift: $21.00/hr

Position Summary:

Responsible for operating equipment used in filling and plating of prepared culture media in a cGMP environment. Tasks include setup, inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, cleaning, completing production batches, documentation, and supporting tasks such as area cleaning, material movement, and quality inspections.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate high-speed filling and packaging equipment using HMI/SCADA
• Manufacture in a cleanroom environment
• Prepare equipment to meet batch timelines
• Perform equipment calibration and verification
• Follow manufacturing directions and SOPs
• Conduct cleaning and sanitization of equipment
• Document batches in compliance with GDPS
• Perform in-process and AQL inspections
• Assist in reviewing and revising manufacturing instructions and SOPs
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces following 5S standards
• Follow aseptic techniques to ensure safety and quality

Safety Compliance:

• Adhere to OSHA and site safety policies
• Use appropriate PPE
• Report hazards and participate in safety training

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years in regulated production or operations
• Experience with high-speed automated equipment
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations
• Familiarity with FDA or GMP regulations is a plus
• Ability to learn new equipment within 90 days

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to climb stairs and operate pallet jacks
• Exposure to chemicals, antibiotics, and odors
• Wear PPE as required
• No makeup or jewelry in manufacturing areas
• Willing to cross-train and support production areas
• Availability for overtime

Compensation:

Estimated Min Rate: $21.00
Estimated Max Rate: $24.15
