Job summary

CareGivers America is seeking RN/LPN nurses to provide one-on-one pediatric home care in Kentucky. Roles offer $28-$34 per hour with flexible shifts to fit family needs and a focus on safety, comfort, and quality care for children with complex medical needs.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health, and documenting care; we value compassionate, reliable nurses who can work with families and coordinate with a care team. New graduates welcome; CPR/BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Willingness to work in Mahanoy City, Robesonia & Berks County
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• New graduates welcome
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable caring for children with developmental and complex medical needs
• Reliable, compassionate, patient, and attentive
• Able to provide hands-on care, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, positioning, and assisting with mobility or transfers
• Ability to safely operate and monitor medical equipment as required

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care to children in a safe, in-home setting
• Monitor the child's health, safety, and overall condition
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered
• Provide seizure monitoring and response, with training available as needed
• Assist with mobility, positioning, feeding, and other daily care needs
• Monitor and assist with feeding tubes and other medical equipment as applicable
• Complete accurate clinical documentation, progress notes, and required care records
• Communicate changes in condition, concerns, and updates with parents, caregivers, and the care team
• Follow individualized care plans and physician orders
• Provide comfort, reassurance, and age-appropriate engagement throughout the shift
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for the child
