Job summary

Strides Therapy & Educational Services seeks a Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the Leesburg, FL area. You will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in the school setting, collaborating with educators and families to develop IEPs and deliver evidence-based interventions.

The role involves direct therapy, progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary teamwork to support PreK–12 students.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Valid Florida state licensure or ability to obtain licensure
• Experience working with school-age children preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond.
• Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.
• Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
