Job summary

Coastal Wealth is seeking an experienced Financial Planner to support our advisors by preparing comprehensive financial plans for their clients. Ideal candidates are CFPs or pursuing CFP designation with 3–5 years of planning experience and strong technical skills.

Responsibilities include collaborating with advisors, analyzing client financials, modeling scenarios with eMoney, and ensuring compliance through detailed documentation. Florida residency is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• CFP designation or actively pursuing CFP certification.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial planning with drafting comprehensive plans.
• Proficiency with financial planning software, preferably eMoney; RightCapital or MoneyGuidePro also desired.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with advisors and support staff.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
• Must be located in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with advisors to create customized, comprehensive financial plans.
• Analyze clients' financial information including investments, retirement, insurance, tax, and estate plans.
• Model scenarios using planning software (eMoney) and develop recommendations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices for accuracy and compliance.
• Support advisors in client meetings with data-driven insights and plan presentations.
• Maintain detailed documentation of client information and planning strategies per compliance.
