Very reputable P/E backed well known Retail and Fitness company located in Georgia is looking for a new CFO for an immediate need. This position will be remote with the need to travel to Georgia (Atlanta area) 1-2x per month. Job Description:

The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business. This includes financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and risk management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the retail or fitness/wellness sectors, with experience managing multi-site accounting and finance for 120 retail stores. The CFO will play a critical role in shaping and executing the company’s strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership:

• Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support growth and profitability.
• Lead the accounting team and oversee the development and management of accounting systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team.
• Evaluate and manage financial risks, investments, and capital structure.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Oversee financial modeling for new business ventures, expansion, and capital projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, including as CFO or senior financial executive.
• Experience in MULTI-SITE accounting and finance is required.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, analysis, cash flow management, and capital allocation.
• Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and scale financial systems.
• Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with private equity or investor relations is a plus.
