Job summary

Ansys Government Initiatives (AGI), a Synopsys subsidiary, seeks a CFO-level finance leader to guide AGI's financial planning, controls, and strategic investments within a defense-focused, matrix organization. You will partner with the VP & GM and parent company finance to drive growth while ensuring compliance.

This role demands 12+ years of senior finance experience, exposure to government contracting, and strong strategic communication across executives, auditors, and shared services;

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive finance experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Experience as CFO or senior finance partner for a regulated government contracting environment.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SOX, FAR/DFARS; audit readiness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Function as the CFO-like finance leader for AGI, guiding financial planning, reporting, controls, and investment decisions.
• Lead FP&A, long-range planning, and executive-level reviews with the VP & GM and parent company teams.
• Partner with Legal, Contracts, Compliance, and Shared Services to ensure compliant growth and governance.
• Translate financial data into actionable business recommendations for executives and boards.
