Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Chief Financial Officer for its GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) business. The role partners with the CFO of Rackspace Technology to scale a high-growth standalone AI infrastructure unit, shaping capital allocation, pricing, and performance management.

The CFO will build the financial operating model, lead planning, and manage a dedicated finance team to drive profitability and disciplined investment as the business expands.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of executive finance leadership in high-growth technology, cloud, AI infrastructure, or capital-intensive businesses.
• Expertise in capital allocation, financial planning, infrastructure economics, pricing strategy, and performance management.
• Strong track record evaluating data center economics and large-scale capital investments (build-vs-lease, depreciation, return thresholds).
• Direct experience as CFO or senior finance executive at a GPU cloud, neocloud, or IaaS provider strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial operating model to support launch, scale and long-term value creation.
• Manage annual planning, long-range forecasting, and scenario analyses for growth and investment decisions.
• Oversee capital strategy, GPU fleet expansion, infrastructure investment, and capacity planning.
• Partner with GTM and product leaders to design pricing models rooted in GPU economics and consumption patterns.
• Provide FP&A, reporting, KPI dashboards, and performance updates to CEO and Board.
