As an integral part of our dynamic team, we are seeking an experienced Head of Accounting who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment. This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead and manage financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities. CFO will be a key player in implementing strategic financial plans and driving financial performance. If you are a seasoned professional with a strong background in accounting and a passion for driving financial success, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

The CFO will be responsible for a range of financial duties including

• Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies.
• Collaborating with the financial management team to develop budgets and financial forecasts.
• Evaluating, implementing, and streamlining accounting systems and processes using Sage software.
• Ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations.
• Leading and executing M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and post-transaction support.
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
• Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures.
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the CFO position should possess the following

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities.
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
• Strong working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects.
• Strong leadership qualities with an ability to direct and supervise a team.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
