Job summary

Digital Industries Software is seeking a CFD Software Engineer to join our Simcenter STAR-CCM+ team. You will develop and optimize CFD algorithms for thermal and battery simulation, contribute to advanced features, and collaborate with engineers to deliver robust software.

Qualifications

Strong background in CFD or numerical simulation methods.
Proficiency in C++ or similar OO languages.
Experience with software development practices, version control, and testing frameworks.
Solid understanding of thermal physics, heat transfer, or fluid mechanics.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CFD algorithms and numerical methods for thermal and battery simulation applications
Design and implement software features that enhance simulation accuracy and performance
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate customer requirements into robust technical solutions
Conduct code reviews, testing, and validation to ensure high‑quality software delivery
Participate in technical documentation and knowledge sharing with the broader engineering team
Troubleshoot complex simulation issues and provide technical support to customers and internal teams
