Job summary

Sapsol Technologies Inc is seeking a CFD Engineer to develop and optimize CFD models for high‑speed turbomachinery, including compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and ducts. The role requires close collaboration with FE/design teams to ensure accurate validation and performance improvements.

The position is 100% onsite in Irvine, CA, with emphasis on practical modeling, data interpretation and cross‑disciplinary teamwork to deliver robust, efficient thermal systems.

Qualifications

• Experience developing CFD models for high‑speed turbomachinery such as compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers or ducts.
• Strong background in internal/external fluid flow simulations and mesh generation.
• Ability to collaborate with mechanical/FEA teams to validate and optimize designs.

Responsibilities

• Validate CFD results against test data and collaborate with FE/design teams.

CFD Engineer – Thermal Systems / Turbomachinery

• Focus: Developing CFD models for high-speed compressors, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and ducts.
• Key Skills: Internal/external fluid flow simulations, mesh generation, design optimization, and FEA collaboration.
• Tools: ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, CFX, or OpenFOAM.
