Job summary

Mindrift is seeking contributors to help train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks. You will take CAD geometry, set up and run simulations, build verified reference solutions and write Python checks for the agent's results.

The project offers fully remote work with flexible hours, approximately 10–20 hours per week during active phases. A competitive hourly rate up to $69 is available, with performance-based bonuses.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field (energy or oil & gas).
• Several years of hands-on CFD with OpenFOAM, ANSYS Fluent/CFX or STAR-CCM+, including meshing.
• Solid verification and validation practices: mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.
• Nice to have: aerospace, automotive, offshore or turbomachinery background; multiphase or particle-laden flow experience.

About the role

Requirements

Compensation

On this project, contributors can earn up to$69 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution.
