Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a CFD Analyst- Mechanical Engineer to join our team in New York NY, Troy NY or other listed offices. You will analyze building infrastructure—power and cooling systems—using CFD tools to ensure 24/7 operation of data centers and critical facilities.

You will develop best practices, automate workflows, and communicate results through presentations and reports to design teams and clients, while collaborating with multi-discipline teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 1>3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of CFD, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and building mechanical systems.
• Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CFD tools to solve physics-based problems related to indoor/outdoor building flows and thermal comfort.
• Improve analytical capabilities by developing and automating processes and workflows.
• Maintain knowledge of CFD research in building mechanical fields and present findings.
