What the Salesforce Developer and Administrator does at Worldwide Certinia

The Certinia Salesforce Developer and Administrator (CSDA) will lead the ongoing development of the Certinia PSA platform, managing day-to-day administration and integrations with Salesforce and other financial systems. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of process improvement and adoption using Salesforce.com and will collaborate closely with the Salesforce Administrator for CRM-related functionalities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Certinia Configuration and Administration
    • Design and implement workflows, customizations, and automations.
    • Maintain system security, user setup, roles, profiles, and permissions.
    • Evaluate new releases of Certinia and Salesforce for impact and opportunities.
  2. Certinia Development
    • Collaborate with external consultants to design, develop, and support Apex code, triggers, and flows.
    • Develop Apex code and triggers to support new features.
    • Maintain the Certinia code base.
  3. Certinia Production Support
    • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for Certinia PSA.
    • Work with stakeholders to prioritize platform enhancements and manage development lifecycle.
  4. Reporting and Dashboards
    • Create reports, dashboards, and flows to monitor data quality and integrity.
  5. Communication and Change Management
    • Update management and stakeholders on changes, enhancements, and defect statuses.
    • Prepare for Salesforce and Certinia version releases and monitor ecosystem trends.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (preferred).
  • Platform App Builder Certification (preferred).
  • Previous Certinia PSA experience (preferred).
  • Experience in life sciences (preferred).
  • Conga experience (preferred).

Educational and Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Financial discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce developer and/or Certinia Administrator.
  • Proficiency in Apex programming and coding.
  • Understanding of accounting concepts.
  • Experience in life sciences, biotech, pharma, or CROs (preferred).
  • Strong analytical skills.

Compensation
Exact salary varies based on skills, experience, and location: $68,005.00 - $134,995.00
