Job Description:

Experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistant needed for busy family medicine office in Frankfort, IL. Minimum of two years of prior experience required. Must be computer literate, comfortable with pediatric patients, skilled at giving vaccines/injections to patients of all ages, and able to draw blood.

Responsibilities:

1. Rooming patients
2. Giving injections
3. Phlebotomy
4. Scheduling appointments
5. Relaying test results to patients
6. Verifying insurance eligibility
7. Accurately documenting into EMR and billing software
8. Scanning into EMR
9. Sending billing statements
10. Posting payments
11. Assisting with remote patient monitoring
12. Doing referrals
13. Performing basic in-office testing
