Indian Rivers Behavioral Health is seeking a Clinician I – Certified Peer Support Youth in Tuscaloosa, AL. The CPS-Y provides authentic, strength-based support to youth with emotional and mental health challenges, emphasizing recovery and resiliency.

The role focuses on building peer relationships, empowering youth and families, and collaborating with professionals to coordinate care. The CPS-Y will engage with youth and families, promote self-empowerment, and facilitate access to resources.

Formación

• Must possess strong commitment to assisting youth and families.
• Must satisfactorily complete all DMH and IRBH trainings.
• Must have ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English.
• Must have valid Alabama driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure duties align with IRBH and DMH policies.
• Maintain safety, health, and productivity standards (40 billable hours/month).
• Maintain caseload targets per year (10–30 first year; 20–50 after).
• Work with paraprofessionals and professional staff to support clients.
• Attend staffings and team meetings; ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
