Blueview Recovery is a substance abuse treatment center providing high-quality care through Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) programs. We are seeking a Certified Yoga Instructor with expertise in holistic healing practices, such as art therapy or other wellness modalities, to lead engaging and therapeutic group sessions for clients in recovery.

Job Summary:

The Certified Yoga Instructor & Holistic Practitioner will facilitate mind-body wellness sessions incorporating yoga, creative expression, and other holistic approaches to support individuals in their recovery journey. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, somatic healing, and alternative therapies to create a supportive and engaging experience for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Holistic Wellness Sessions:
• Lead trauma-informed yoga sessions tailored for individuals in substance use recovery.
• Facilitate art-based or other creative holistic activities to encourage emotional expression and healing.
• Client Engagement & Support:
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all clients.
• Adapt holistic sessions to accommodate individual needs and comfort levels.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Work alongside clinical staff to integrate holistic practices into treatment plans.
• Maintain group participation records and provide insight into client progress.
• Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance holistic programming.
  
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Certified Yoga Instructor with experience in trauma-sensitive or therapeutic yoga.
• Additional certification or expertise in art therapy or another holistic healing modality preferred.
• Experience facilitating group sessions in behavioral health or addiction recovery settings.
• Knowledge of mind-body healing, somatic practices, and expressive therapies.
• Ability to engage and motivate clients in their recovery journey.
• Strong communication, adaptability, and group facilitation skills.
