Proman Skilled Tradesis looking for skilled and certified X-Ray Welders to join our team. The X-Ray Welder will perform precision welding operations that require compliance with strict codes and standards, primarily using x-ray or radiographic inspection to ensure the quality and integrity of welds.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding operations on a variety of materials including steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
• Use TIG, MIG, and other welding techniques as required, ensuring precision in all welds.
• Conduct x-ray or radiographic inspection to assess the quality of welds, ensuring no defects such as cracks, voids, or inclusions.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding and related equipment, including x-ray inspection equipment.
• Perform post-welding inspections and repair any defects as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to ensure weld integrity and compliance with industry standards.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, always ensuring a safe working environment.
• Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and stay current with industry advancements.

Requirements

• Certified Welder(6g welding certification)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding, with specific experience in x-ray welding techniques.
• Strong knowledge of welding standards and codes, including ASME and AWS.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Proficiency in operating welding equipment and tools, including TIG and MIG welding machines.
• Experience with radiographic inspection techniques and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening
• Have OSHA 10
