Job summary

KTA-Tator, Inc. is seeking Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) nationwide. Full-time and part-time positions available. All applicants must be willing to travel and work multiple shifts. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and current AWS CWI certification.

Bridge fabrication inspection experience is preferred, and NDT experience or AMPP (NACE) certification is desirable. Excellent communication and reliable transportation are essential for success in this role.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent-required
• Current AWS CWI - required
• Bridge fabrication inspection experience -preferred
• NDT Experience is desirable
• AMPP (NACE)certification is desirable

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:

• Good oral and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Valid driver’s license
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to navigate the internet

Physical Requirements:

• Close, color, distance, depth vision and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to travel extensively and ability to work outside on occasion (including inclement weather)
• Climbing, bending, crawling, and working in confined spaces and on uneven terrain
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs

Salary Range: $30-42/hour with comprehensive benefits package. Hourly rate is based on experience and certifications.
