We are hiring Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) for our project in the NYC metro area. UT & MT Level 2 and ICC Structural Steel & Bolting certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

1. Quality Assurance: Conduct visual and destructive testing of welds; verify welding procedures and qualifications; monitor welding processes.
2. Inspection and Testing: Inspect welding operations, materials, and equipment; identify and document defects.
3. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain inspection records; generate reports on findings and recommendations.
4. Collaboration and Improvement: Collaborate with teams; provide training; suggest process improvements.
5. Certification and Compliance: Maintain AWS CWI certification; ensure regulatory compliance; stay updated with industry standards.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• AWS CWI Certification
• 1-10 years of experience
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication skills in English
