Qualifications

• Current AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.
• Experience performing welding inspections in fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS welding codes and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and engineering specifications.
• Familiarity with NDT methods and inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

Labor Finders is seeking an experienced Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for a full-time opportunity in the Macon, GA area. This position is responsible for ensuring welded components, structures, and assemblies meet project specifications, AWS standards, and customer quality requirements.

• Perform visual inspections of welded components and completed assemblies.


• Verify compliance with AWS codes, project specifications, and quality standards.
