Job summary

Turner Industries in Norco, LA seeks a Welder to lay out, fit and weld fabricated components to assemble tanks, pressure vessels, pipe and structural parts. The role is non-exempt and reports to the Foreman, with duties defined by approved procedures and ongoing quality checks.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of welding experience, welding certifications, drug screen, and physical requirements. Safety gear and client PPE are provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years of welding experience.
• Must pass a weld test and be certified as a welder.
• Post-offer drug screen and physical evaluation.
• Safety requirements and PPE compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align and fit components for welding.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, MIG, TIG processes.
• May weld pipe, structural steel and tanks as required.
• Repair or modify assemblies and perform component welding.
