Qualifications

• Must obtain necessary weld certifications.
• Minimum 1 year of experience and/or training in production welding position.
• Knowledge of reading, writing, and understanding work instructions or customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Weld and operate welding systems to fabricate and assemble metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance and report issues.

Skills

GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)

Proficiency in math

Measurement skills (tape measure, protractor, height gauge, caliper)

Interpretation of blueprints and weld symbols

Mechanical aptitude

Education
