Clean Harbors in Houston, TX is seeking a Certified Welder to weld, fabricate, and produce small parts. Daily tasks include MIG and TIG welding of sub frames, bumpers, and piping components in a heated shop.

The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to blueprints and shop sketches. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of welding experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a welding certification.

Qualificações

• High School, GED - required.
• Trade school or post-secondary welding training or apprenticeship.
• Welding test required.
• 1+ years of experience.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Certified Welder.
• MIG (prefer TIG, but willing to train).
• Safety Focused.
• Punctuality and attendance required.
• Background check, drug screen and physical- required.
• Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority while working independently and with others.
• Layout, fit up piping modules in a heated shop area using measuring tapes and hand tools.
• Weld and fabricate carbon, stainless steel and other alloys.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding of joints and assemble components.
• Wear appropriate safety equipment and follow site safety requirements.
• Notify supervisor of equipment deficiencies or repairs needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools.
