Job description

We're seeking skilled welders to support our Parkline facility in Eleanor, WV. As part of nVent, Parkline specializes in manufacturing highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial use. Our company designs, manufactures, markets, installs, and services high-performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings, and essential processes. We offer a range of construction types, including prefabricated and on-site solutions, framed and frameless buildings, and modular units.

The welder will assist or work independently to weld, grind, cut, and assemble metal components such as structural shapes, plates, and light-gauge structural parts for modular buildings.

Job Functions

1. Fabricate and weld structural steel and miscellaneous parts daily.
2. Assist in cutting, welding, and fabricating structural steel components and fixtures.
3. Operate welding equipment safely.
4. Weld in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
5. Weld metals of different thicknesses.

Required Qualifications

4. Ability to accurately read tape lines and protractors.
