SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Certified Weld Inspector (CWI)/Weld Engineering Technician’s primary function will be to support welding functions and authorize production after successful weld inspection. The Weld Engineering Technician will perform duties including the inspection of First Article (FA) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) products with the associated reporting. The Weld Engineering Technician will work to ensure that the products shipped meet the expectations of the customer and are delivered right the first time including any of the associated identification and documentation requirements. Duties will also include efforts to maximize weld productivity utilizing various weld processes and equipment.
HOURS: This is a 2nd shift position with the hours of Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 1:00am.
