Central States Water Resources is seeking a Certified Water/Wastewater Operator to join our team in Livingston, LA. This role focuses on operating and maintaining wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork are essential.

The operator will monitor processes, perform routine tests, and document data in the SAMS system. The position requires flexibility to work 24/7 shifts and travel among local plants.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Familiarity with industry software and ability to learn new systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor water and wastewater equipment for proper operation.
• Conduct routine tests on chemical levels and water quality.
• Monitor water quality to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Record and report operational data and performance metrics.
• Perform preventive maintenance on treatment equipment and systems, including electrical and SCADA tasks.
• Travel to assigned plants in the local area and work 24/7 shifts.
