Job summary

Diamondhead Water & Sewer District is seeking a Certified Water Operator. The ideal candidate has municipal water and sewer operations experience and familiarity with water well systems and chlorine disinfection. Responsibilities include routine equipment maintenance, quality testing, and upkeep of water well facilities.

Applicants must have a high school diploma, valid MS driver’s license, and pass drug, physical, and background checks. A good driving record is required for insurability.

Job description

The Diamondhead Water & Sewer District is seeking Certified Water Operator position. Prior municipal water & sewer operations experience is required. Must have experience with water well systems and chlorine disinfection processes. Duties include but not limited to, routine equipment maintenance, quality testing, and maintenance of water well facilities.

Applicants must have high school diploma, valid MS Driver’s License, pass drug screening, physical and background check. A good driving record for insurability will be required for this position.

Minimum salary of $19.59/hr. to commensurate with education/experience.
