Base pay range

$42.00/hr - $42.00/hr

Job Overview

Responsible for performing semi-skilled work in the operation of a wastewater treatment plant. The role includes monitoring equipment, conducting tests, performing maintenance, and responding to emergencies. Flexibility to respond to disaster situations is required.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Conducting plant tours and monitoring equipment.
  2. Recording readings and adjusting machinery.
  3. Performing tests and operating treatment equipment.
  4. Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
  5. Following safety policies and procedures.
  6. Performing other duties as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid N.C. Wastewater Treatment Grade I certification (or ability to obtain within 18 months).
  • Possession of a valid North Carolina driver’s license or ability to obtain one within 60 days of establishing residency.
Experience & Skills
