Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Logistics Associate in Florida to receive, handle, store, and dispatch goods under supervision.

You will perform system transactions, check for damage, label and organize storage to optimize space, and operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery as certified. Responsibilities include following Health, Safety & Environmental standards, conducting quality checks for discrepancies, and maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification to operate powered industrial vehicles (reach trucks, order pickers, pallet rider, etc.).
• Requires some work experience or intermediate knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Maintains inventory accuracy by completing system transactions and cycle counts.
• Identifies and supports process improvements to enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods.
• Inspect incoming goods for damage and discrepancies with invoices.
• Sort, label, store, and optimize warehouse space; pick, pack, and ship.
• Operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery as certified.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and participate in safety programs.
