Job summary

Paycom in Lakeland, FL is seeking an experienced warehouse associate to perform receiving, order picking, packing and shipping and to organize stock in the warehouse. You will help unload trucks, place materials on racks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift experience and a strong work ethic, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Candidates must be able to pass a background check and drug test and follow all safety rules at all times.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse related experience in shipping and receiving.
• 3+ years of forklift experience.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Experience handling pipe (carbon and stainless) a plus.
• Excellent work ethic and ability to work self-directed and in a team.
• Must pass background check and drug test.
• Minimum of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
• Sort and place material on racks, shelves or bins according to standards.
• Maintain safe and clean work environment; organize workspace for orderliness.
• Wear the proper safety equipment at all times.
• Perform any other duties as requested by supervisor or manager.
