Animal Medical Center of Deer Valley in Glendale, AZ is seeking a skilled Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) to join our veterinary team. You will support veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and client education while delivering compassionate patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a CVT/LVT/RVT credential, has strong anesthesia monitoring and animal handling skills, and is proficient with veterinary software and EMR systems.

Qualifications

• CVT/LVT/RVT credential preferred by state regulations.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong anesthesia monitoring and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and restrain animals safely and compassionately.
• Proficiency with veterinary software and EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record patient histories, vital signs, and physical assessment data.
• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery during and after procedures.
• Collect and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, and fecal specimens.
• Perform dental prophylaxis and assist with dental procedures.
• Educate clients on preventive health care and treatment plans.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment area and assist with inventory.
