Falconbridge Animal Hospital, located in Durham, NC, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team. You will perform comprehensive lab work, monitor anesthesia, assist in surgeries, and contribute to patient care with a collaborative approach.

The ideal candidate holds an AVMA-accredited RVT program graduate status, a current state license, and at least one year of veterinary experience. We offer a supportive network and opportunities for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
• A current state veterinary technician license in good standing.
• Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
• Calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced situations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.
• One year of veterinary industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including treatments, anesthesia monitoring, and lab work.
• Lead and mentor the medical team, ensuring efficient workflow and skill development.
• Educate clients on treatments, review medical records, and answer questions confidently.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture through training, feedback, and high standards.
