Job summary

Companion Animal Hospital & Boarding Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL, is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team. You’ll provide comprehensive patient care, assist in surgery, monitor anesthesia, and support clients with clear, compassionate communication.

Qualifications

Graduate of AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
A current state veterinary technician license (CVT) in good standing.
Proficiency in nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology and laboratory procedures.
A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments and monitoring anesthesia.
Be a leader and mentor to the medical team and support efficient workflows.
Partner with clients to educate on treatments and review medical records.
Contribute to a positive culture and uphold hospital standards.
