Job summary

Acoaxet Veterinary Clinic in Westport, MA is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join a close-knit, AAHA-accredited hospital. You will assist surgeons, monitor anesthesia, perform dental radiographs, and help with exams and patient care. Mentorship is available for new grads, and team collaboration is highly valued.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist veterinarians in surgical and dental procedures, including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep, and recovery care
• Perform dental radiology and cleanings
• Maintain sterile surgical environments and ensure proper handling of instruments
• Provide compassionate post-operative monitoring and nursing care
• Accurately maintain medical records and treatment plans
• Assist veterinarians in exam rooms
• Support your team in other areas of the hospital as needed
