This hands-on CVT role focuses on patient care, anesthesia support, routine surgery assistance, vaccination delivery, diagnostics, and accurate medical record keeping.

Qualifikationen

• CVT credential required.

Aufgaben

• Performs and assists with physical exams, patient histories, and vitals.
• Administers vaccines, medications, and treatments with accurate dosing.
• Places IV catheters, performs venipuncture, and manages fluid therapy.
• Inducts and monitors anesthesia for routine and surgical procedures.
• Assists in surgery including spay/neuter and instrument prep.
• Performs radiography and in-house lab work (bloodwork, urinalysis).
• Provides dental care support including cleanings and radiographs.
• Maintains medical records and communicates with veterinarians.
• Supports patient comfort and safe handling across cases.
