Job description

CVT in Portland, Oregon –

Cat and Dog Hospital of Portland is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to support our three-Doctor practice. Our FT techs work 4 ten-hour days. We are open 8-6 Monday-Saturday.

Cat and Dog Hospital of Portland is a compassionate Fear Free/Cat Friendly hospital with state-of-the-art equipment and a bright and modern facility. Our doctors and staff are committed to high-quality medicine and gentle, low-stress handling techniques. Our staff is small and depends highly on hard work, communication, and reliability. You bring your willingness to learn, great teamwork, dentistry and surgical experience, and dedication to improving practice every day.

The job requirements include:

  1. Assisting the doctors with patients
  2. Venipuncture and cystogenesis skills
  3. Dentistry and surgery experience
  4. Nursing care
  5. Outstanding customer service skills
  6. The ability to stay focused and multi-task
  7. Professional communication with clients

Knowledge of Cornerstone veterinary software is a plus!
