Tyrone Veterinary Hospital is located in St. Petersburg, Florida, in a vibrant area with beaches and restaurants. We are a four-doctor, AAHA-accredited hospital providing small animal veterinary care since 1967.

• Professional client communication, education, and medical history collection
• Laboratory procedures: hematology, cytology, urinalysis, microbiology, blood chemistry, fecals
• Diagnostic imaging and safety protocol implementation
• Nursing skills: patient restraint, medication administration (PO/IV/SUBQ/IM), bandage application, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, surgery prep, anesthesia monitoring
• Proficient in dental prophylaxis
• Work four 10-hour shifts with rotating Saturdays and holidays

Position Requirements:

• Veterinary Technician Certification or Licensure (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) or ability to transfer credentials
• Associate degree in Veterinary Technology
