  • CVT preferred but not required.
  • Experience in urgent care/specialty hospitals is a plus.
  • Proficiency in anesthetic drug administration and monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain a thorough history from pet owners.
  • Assess patient stability and vitals.
  • Assist veterinarians in routine exams and procedures.
  • Administer medications and monitor anesthesia.
  • Collect and run in-house lab tests including bloodwork.
  • Maintain sterile technique for procedures and instruments.
  • Position pets for radiographs and ensure proper technique.
  • Educate owners on diagnosis, care, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional patient care.

  • Educate pet owners on diagnosis, care, and post-treatment instructions
  • Collaborate with fellow team members to provide exceptional patient care
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Qualifications
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) preferred but not required
  • Experience working in an urgent care/ specialty hospital preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in anesthetic drug administration and monitoring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion and empathy for pets and their owners
