Job summary

VCA Spring Creek Animal Care Hospital in Jackson, WY seeks a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our hospital team. You will support technicians and doctors by maintaining a calm, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients, delivering an outstanding client experience.

You will bring CVT/RVT/LVT credentials and apply your skills in exams, anesthesia, dentistry, radiology, lab work, venipuncture, catheter placement, pharmacy and patient recovery to ensure top-quality care for our patients.

Qualifications

  • CVT/RVT/LVT credentials required.
  • Ability to work as part of a veterinary team.
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical examinations and patient assessment.
  • Monitor anesthesia and assist during procedures.
  • Prepare for surgery and assist surgeons.
  • Conduct dentistry procedures and radiology.
  • Run laboratory tests and venipuncture as needed.
  • Place catheters and manage patient recovery.
  • Medication handling and pharmacy duties.
  • Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals.
