Swift Creek Animal Hospital & Pet Resort in Midlothian, VA is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join a compassionate, fast-paced team. You will assist doctors during appointments, surgeries, and vaccinations, and help keep the hospital welcoming for pets and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assisting our doctors during appointments, surgeries, and vaccinations.
• Performing blood draws, taking X-rays, and caring for instruments & clippers.
• Keeping exam rooms, floors, and hospital areas clean and welcoming.
• Helping with bathing pets (rubber ducky playlist optional).
• Managing laundry (because clean towels = happy patients!).
• Communicating with clients, doctors, teammates, and referral clinics.
• Submitting prescriptions and entering important patient information.
• Assisting with inventory and making sure we never run out of the good stuff.
• Lifting up to 40 lbs multiple times a day (think adorable but wiggly pups).
