Job summary

PetVet Care Centers Saline County Animal Clinic in Benton, Arkansas, is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will support hospital operations, perform exams and diagnostics, assist during surgeries, and provide nursing care while maintaining patient records and delivering exceptional service to pets and owners.

This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $1,000 based on experience, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Technician (nice to have).
• Must hold a technician certificate/license.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, performing examinations and diagnostic tests.
• Assist during surgery and operations and provide nursing care.
• Maintain medical records and update patient data in a timely manner.
• Administer medications and vaccines, monitor vital signs, and manage patient comfort.
• Ensure sterile environments and proper maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status and care plans.
