Animal Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS seeks a certified veterinary technician to support our team. Responsibilities include patient restraint, triage, lab work, imaging, and nursing care.

Qualifications

• Certified veterinary technician with current credentials.
• 1+ year experience preferred.
• Strong communication and client-service skills.
• Ability to restrain pets safely and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of lab sample collection, analysis, and basic hospital flow.
• Experience with radiographs and anesthesia monitoring is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients and nursing care.
• Collection and analysis of lab samples, including blood, urine, and feces.
• Positioning and taking radiographs; assist with dental radiographs.
• Administer medications and monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Communicate treatment plans and updates clearly to clients.
