Job summary

Baptist in Memphis, TN seeks a Sonographer to perform imaging procedures per radiology standards to aid diagnosis and treatment. You will also perform related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities include applying appropriate techniques, developing treatment plans, documenting activities, maintaining equipment, and participating in performance improvement efforts to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Sonographer.
• Proof of ARDMS and/or RVT registry (by primary source) available within 120 days of graduation.
• BLS certification required within 14 days of hire.
• Basic computer literacy is required.

• Develops a procedure/treatment plan.
• Implements plan utilizing hospital protocols/guidelines.

• Participates in Performance Improvement activities to ensure patient care aligns with standards.
• Completes assigned goals.

• Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS and/or Registered Vascular Technologist RVT or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry. Proof of registry (by primary source) must be available within 120 calendar days of graduation. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 14 days of hire date.
