We are looking for aCertified Therapeutic Recreation Therapistto join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

Recreational therapists plan, direct, and coordinate recreation-based treatment programs for people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. These therapists use a variety of modalities, including arts and crafts; drama, music, and dance; sports and games; aquatics; and community outings to help maintain or improve a patient’s physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

Education and Training:Bachelor’s Degree, certified or eligible for certification as a CTRSExperience:Two (2) years’ experience as a Recreational Therapist in rehab activities or a similar setting
