PAM Health seeks a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Therapist to join our inpatient care team. You will plan, direct, and coordinate recreation-based treatment programs for patients with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses, using arts, music, drama, sports, and aquatic activities to support physical and emotional well-being.

Education required: Bachelor’s Degree with CTRS certification eligibility. Two years’ Recreational Therapy experience in rehab settings is preferred; a strong willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, certified or eligible for certification as a CTRS.
• Two (2) years’ experience as a Recreational Therapist in rehab activities or a similar setting.
• Inpatient hospital experience preferred or a strong commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

• Recreational therapists plan, direct, and coordinate recreation-based treatment programs for people with disabilities, injuries, or illnesses.
• Utilize modalities such as arts, crafts, drama, music, dance, sports, aquatic activities, and community outings to improve patient well-being.
