The Role You’ll Contribute

Performs C.T. Scan procedures and a variety of technical scanning procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative, including application of ionizing radiation for C.T. Scan Diagnostic Procedures.

• Demonstrates proficiency in performing technical imaging procedures on all patient age groups and can teach the same.
• Provides imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of age, race, or sex.

• Effective communication skills with staff, patients, families, and imaging services administration.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences needed:

• High School graduation or equivalent.
• Graduate from an accredited x-ray technology school with an associate degree or certification, and registry from the ARRT.
• Current Florida X-ray Technologist HRS license.
• ARRT(R) registration.
• Current BLS certification.
