Qualifications

• Must hold a valid teaching credential appropriate for secondary education
• Knowledge of Catholic Church teachings is preferred
• Experience in middle/high school Spanish education is a plus

• Establish positive relationships and rapport with students

Central Catholic High Schoolis seeking a faithful, passionate, selfless, and resilient part-time Spanish teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must be enthusiastic about the mission of Central Catholic High School. They should have the ability to collaborate with department colleagues in constructing and executing their curricula, develop syllabi, hold high academic and behavior expectations for all their students, offer support and instruction to students at all ability levels, and deliver high quality instruction. The preferred candidate has an understanding, experience, and ability to utilize the Comprehensible Input method of language teaching, enthusiasm for working with youth, a strong understanding of effective instructional practices, and the desire to work in a Christian environment.

The position is for two Spanish 1 courses which are taught on our Gold day bell schedule, which occurs every other day on our school calendar. The time of these courses are 10:30am-12:20pm (with a break during class for lunch) and 12:25pm-1:45pm.
