Qualifications

  • Experience tutoring middle school math preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide math tutoring to grades 6-8.
  • Oversee the use of IXL remediation programming.
  • Plan and prepare roughly 1.5 hours weekly for instruction and planning.

Job description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Triad is looking to hire certified teachers to support our local youth in-need of additional academic assistance. Job duties will include Math tutoring for grades 6-8, also oversight of use of online educational (IXL) remediation programming.

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, 4pm-5pm, plus 1.5 additional hours per week for planning. Roughly 4.5 hours total per week.

Pay:

$30.00 per hr. MUST BE A CERTIFIED NORTH CAROLINA TEACHER.
