Position Details

Type: Full-time

Description: Under supervision of a licensed or certified Teacher, provides instructional support to children in the classroom. Responsibilities include aiding in program activities, supervising children, assisting with instructional materials, and maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Essential Duties

• Assist children with daily activities and instructional resources.
• Support classroom management and safety protocols.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Transport children as needed and perform clerical tasks related to classroom activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• NYS Teacher Assistant Certification (Level I, II, or III).
• Six months of related experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and maintain confidentiality.

Compensation & Benefits

Hourly rate: $19.09 - $21.74 (based on certification level) plus comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.
